As the title says… we are back and have started to work hard on our upcoming projects. We’ll be announcing more news on upcoming stuff soon!
If you haven’t bought Phoenix Spirit yet (you should!) then you should keep an eye out on our Toucharcade thread as we will be giving away promo codes there.
Also don’t forget that the new version of Fall of Atlantis will be out on the 30th of July!
Welcome to version 1.1.0 of Phoenix Spirit. This time we have added a much requested feature. Yes, you have all been waiting for it: the virtual joystick!
Changelist:
- Added virtual joystick controls
- Tweaked beginning of the level to make it slightly more forgiving
- Added an extra savepoint in the beginning
This is an automated post since we are on vacation. However the patch should’ve been approved by Apple at this point.
So we recently pre-ordered upgrades for our game engine, Unity3D.
This means we’ll be able to deploy to the Android platform within a month or two! It will most likely also mean we’ll be able to support iPhone iOS4 as well!
Also this is an automatic message since we are on vacation…
Next week we are going on vacation for three weeks. Before that we’d like to leave you with the trailer for Fall of Atlantis 2.0. It is a major overhaul of our original Fall of Atlantis so people who purchased the original won’t have to more for it.
Yesterday we were exhibiting at the finale of the Swedish Game Awards and later that day our game, Phoenix Spirit, was declared the best mobile game of 2010. You can find some images from the event below:
The team behind Go Go, Samurai! You should've won!
It’s been a while since we made an update about media coverage. Mostly it is due to the fact that we are getting less and less. However this batch of reviews is quite interesting as it has some serious reviewers such as Slide to play and Fingergaming.
We have quite a few projects going on over here. First off we are still working hard to bring an updated Fall of Atlantis back to the App Store. We anticipate it to be ready for sale in early July. What you will find is that we have improved the gameplay of the story mode quite a bit by actually making use of the platforming that was non-existent in the previous version. The graphics has also been enhanced to look less blurry and dark. Last but not least there’s also some dialogues to give some more background to the world of Atlantis.
As for Phoenix Spirit we are currently investigating if we can put in alternate controls that have been requested by a lot of people. In fact the majority of bad reviews stems from the fact that people want to be able to choose control style.
What’s this you say? Let’s say our good friends over at Spearhead Beijing has been working on this for a while and well it has been successful enough for us to port it over to the iPhone! More information on this later.
Oh, we also have a secret project going on cause hey… all studios need secret projects.
